Verusca Mazzola

My name is Verusca Mazzola and I am the owner of Marcie and Me Plainville location. I began my career with children during my early college years working as a Summer Camp Counselor/Summer day care teacher, teaching children from infancy to 12 years of age. During the school year I was a Preschool Teacher teaching children from 2.9 years to 5 Years. I was a partial live-in nanny assisting a single mother with her children’s everyday activities, and later branched off assisting other single mother.

My education background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I also observed special needs children as well as completed the Professional Development Workshop titled “The Multicultural Classroom”.

As soon as I heard of Marcie and Me, I did some research and fell in love! I knew this was a business I wanted to own. What caught my eye was the uniqueness of the program itself. In observing some classes it amazed me how the child and guardian are a part of this incredible learning cycle together and how much each is involved.
